Re-branded: Hawaiian Telcom

Hawaiian Telcom has rebranded itself a week after emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It unveiled its new look to its employees Wednesday and released it to the public on Thursday.

The rebrand, which was in the planning stages for about a year, includes new colors for its logo and advertising, a tribal tattoo design by Big Island artist Che Pilago, and a motto of being “Always On.”

In addition to the rebranding, the company launched simplified billing Thursday and continues to invest in its fiber-optic network and develop new services, said Scott Simon, Hawaii Telcom’s corporate communications executive director.
